Baseball team Kiwoom held the July “Kiwoom Securities Home Run Zone” award ceremony before the Lotte Giants game at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on July 10.
Kiwoom Securities Vice President Uhm Joo-sung was on hand to present the awards to Kim Dong-heon, Dawson, and Song Sung-moon, who each received a prize of 1 million won for hitting balls into the home run zone during the month of July.
This season, the club has installed home run zones on the left and right sides of the outfield at Gocheok Sky Dome with main sponsor Kiwoom Securities. For each home run, 5 million won will be collected and utilized to support baseball equipment for the development of youth baseball after the season ends. Before the game, 10 home runs were hit, totaling 50 million won.
