Brittany Abercrombie (28, USA/Puerto Rico), a foreign player for the IBK Altos women’s professional volleyball team, arrived at Incheon International Airport today.
The 5-foot-11 outside hitter was selected by IBK as the No. 1 overall pick in the women’s foreign player tryout in Turkuye in May.
Abecrombie, who also plays for the Puerto Rico national team, is a left-handed opposite spiker. She is recognized for her versatility in attacking angles, solid fundamentals, and almost error-free play.
Coach Kim Ho-cheol said, “I selected her without thinking about it because she is the most suitable player for the ‘speed volleyball’ that our team is pursuing.”
“I heard a lot about the team, Korea and the V-League from Dali Santana, who played for IBK for two seasons,” said Abecrombie, who will start training on the 21st.먹튀검증
