The race for third place is heating up. Fourth-place NC swept first-place LG 14-1 in a baseball game in Changwon on the 25th. They narrowed the gap with third-place SSG to three games.

In Gwangju, sixth-ranked KIA defeated ninth-ranked Hanwha 4-1 to get back to five wins (50-50-2). Choi Hyung-woo hit a two-run shot (No. 15) in the bottom of the seventh inning with the score 2-1.
