Ulsan Hyundai will look to turn things around when they welcome Johor Bahru (Malaysia).

Ulsan will host Johor Bahru in the third match of the 2023-2024 Asian Champions League (ACL) Group I on Thursday at 7 p.m. at Ulsan World Cup Stadium. Ulsan has the same 1-1 record as Johor Bahru (three points), but sits in third place on goal difference.

Ulsan defeated BG Pathum United (Thailand) 3-1 at home on March 19, thanks to a hat-trick from Martin Adam, but lost 0-1 away to Kawasaki Frontale (Japan) on March 3, thanks to a late goal from Thurlow.

Nowhere to turn. Ulsan needs results in the remaining group games, starting with the match against Johor Bahru, to advance to the round of 16.

Ulsan was brought to its knees by a late goal in the first leg of its K League One Final A match against Gwangju FC on March 21. However, both their performance and confidence improved from before the A-Match break. The K League 1 and the ACL are different stages, so we are determined to win with a different strength and composition of players.

There is a debt to pay. Ulsan was drawn with Johor Bahru in the ACL last season. However, they lost both matches 1-2. They finished third in their group and missed out on a ticket to the round of 16.토스카지노

Johor Bahru is currently in first place in the Malaysian Super League. The frontline is led by Brazilian international Berson, who previously played for Suwon Samsung and Busan I-Park in the K League. Last season, he rattled the net in the second leg of the group stage against Ulsan. This season, he has scored 16 goals in 18 league games.

Another player to watch out for is Italian striker Fernando Forestieri. The former Italian age-group international has played for Watford and Sheffield Wednesday in the English Premier League.

He competed for a starting spot at Watford with current Ulsan Playing Coach Park Joo-young. This season, he is second on the team with 18 goals in 17 league games.

Now more than ever, Ulsan will need a solid defense. Ulsan aims to reverse the ACL and carry the momentum into the match against Daegu FC, which will be a watershed moment for the team’s chances of winning the K League 1 title.
