Lee, 22, won her first title on the Japan Ladies Professional Golf (JLPGA) Tour in an extended playoff two years after making her debut.

Lee carded five birdies without a bogey in the final three rounds of the Hisako Higuchi Mitsubishi Electric Ladies Tournament (100 million yen purse) at Musashigaoka Golf Club (par-72) in Saitama Prefecture, Japan, on Monday to finish at 9-under par 207. Lee, who was tied with Miyu Yamashita and Yuka Nishii (Japan), birdied the first extension to win her first JLPGA Tour title.

She earned 18 million yen (approximately $160,000) for her victory. Lee won three times on the Step Up Tour, Japan’s second-tier tour, in 2020 and 2021 and was the Step Up Tour’s money winner in 2021.굿모닝토토 도메인

Lee became the third South Korean to win on the JLPGA Tour this year, following Shin Ji-ae’s victories at the Daikin Orchid Ladies Tournament in March and the Earth Mondamin Cup in July. Lee learned to play golf from Masashi Ozaki (nicknamed Jumbo Ozaki), who is the all-time winningest golfer on the Japan Golf Tour (JGTO) with 94 career victories.
